Take Flight, Augusta by Connor Lock
2025 Augusta Poster Show · Connor Lock
From the Artist
This piece celebrates Augusta as both a destination and a passage. The layered imagery of native and migratory birds symbolizes the city’s dual role as a home and a haven—welcoming not only wildlife but also people drawn here by its natural beauty and cultural influence. The birds in flight along the Savannah River echo the steady rhythm of migration, reminding us that Augusta’s story is as much about movement and connection as it is about place.
