From the Artist
Blending the charm of vintage field guides with the whimsy of local culture, Common Birds of Phinizy Swamp is both a playful learning tool and an illustrated love letter to Augusta. Building on her Flora and Fauna of the Savannah River series, Autumn Von Plinsky brings birdwatching to life with a humorous twist—where eagles golf, herons play disc golf, and buntings paint en plein air. With storybook warmth and field-guide clarity, this poster turns birding into a joyful Augusta adventure.
