Saying that Augusta has a great DIY culture is like admitting your kids did a really good job raising themselves. Well, we have, and we are. The fact is, we are skilled at organizing events and creating things because no one does it for us. If you want something, you have to make it happen. Well, I want to design posters, so I put on a poster show. To celebrate our DIY town, I pay tribute to the Soul City Sirens roller derby team with my submission to the Augusta Poster Show. They are the epitome of DIY and have taught me more about design and event planning than any college or job ever could. I thoroughly enjoyed creating this piece to honor them.
