90’s Augusta by April Henry King

2021 Augusta Poster Show · April Henry King

From the Artist

I made this poster in Microsoft Paint for that ultimate throwback 90’s vibe. Also, to show other creatives that we don’t always have to own the nicest program, brushes, or equipment to produce art. Of course, in time our tools and craft improves but, as we know, the most important thing we can do as artists is to simply create. If we get caught up in perfectionism, we may never start or finish, and the world needs us more than ever so whether you have the newest version of Photoshop or the cheapest paint and brushes from the store I HOPE YOU CREATE. Be resourceful and use what you have because someone is eagerly waiting to receive it. I hope you enjoy all the warm, fuzzy nostalgia this image as to offer. May it reignite those lost, fun memories of Augusta in the 90’s and makes you smile.
